Formpak, Inc. Hosted Manufacturing Day Event

FERGUSON, MO OCTOBER 2, 2015 – In celebration of Manufacturing Day 2015, Formpak, Inc. hosted an Open House to highlight the importance of manufacturing to the Missouri economy and showcase the positive aspect that manufacturing is thriving in our Ferguson community! Our guest that toured our plant were Ferguson Mayor Knowles, Ferguson Councilman Kallstrom, and Jay Boleach from Ferguson Florissant School District, along with several others.

FormPak President Mike Owens said, “Although FormPak, is a small manufacturer in Ferguson; we are thriving and Manufacturing Day is a time to celebrate positive growth.”

Manufacturing Day is an annual national event executed at the local level supported by thousands of manufacturers as they host students, teachers, parents, job seekers and other local community members at open houses, plant tours and presentations designed to showcase modern manufacturing technology and careers.

Manufacturing Day is co-produced by the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International (FMA), the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the Manufacturing Institute (MI), the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), and guest producer Industrial Strength Marketing (ISM). Media partners include the Edge Factor and the Science Channel and the national movie partner is American Made Movie.
