This is the FormPak BagPak 1100 DT-IH, a duffel top integrated hopper-style bulk bag filling frame. It offers an easy-to-adjust hopper-style infeed system to pour materials from a skid steer or front loader bucket directly into the bag.
This bulk bag filling frame is fabricated of one-quarter-inch thick three and four-inch square tube steel and features two six-by-four-inch fork pockets at the base for ease of moving the filler into place.
The hopper and bag holder assembly must first be adjusted to the correct height for the bag you are filling. Support the assembly by forklift, then remove the safety pins and pull out the hitch pins. Place the desired size bag onto the holder arms via the lift loops, then lift or lower the assembly.
The bag should be suspended so the corners are approximately three to four inches from the pallet, allowing it to stretch and fill properly without any folds remaining. Finally, reset and secure the hitch pins. Bag filling can now begin.
Operators should remain clear of the system while material is dumped or full bags are being removed. Once the bag is full, the forklift can lift slightly to relieve pressure on the lift loops and simply back out of the frame. If a low head or spread base frame is used, the bag can be removed via a pallet jack.
