If you need to replace a load cell, or are adding them to an existing system, assembly is easily accomplished in a matter of minutes.
Included will be the load cell itself, adapter plates, U bolts, and the requisite bolts and washers. Note that the center holes in the mounting plates are countersunk on the sides facing away from the load cell.
Align the cell with the four small holes in one plate and use the hex bolts, washers, and lock washers to attach the cell base to the plate. Once tightened, check to see if the cell unit is loose. If so, adjust with the center bolt on top of the cell. This may require some force as Loctite has been used on the bolt.
Tighten until the cell no longer wiggles. Place the remaining adapter plate on top of the cell with the countersunk side up. Align holes with the cell. Use the allen head bolts to connect and tighten together. The load cell is now ready for attachment to your bulk bag system.
